Liverpool is a great city, with so many things to do, if you have the any time before or after the wedding.
Liverpool is noted for its rich architectural heritage and is home to many buildings regarded as amongst the greatest examples of their respective styles in the world. Several areas of the city centre were granted World Heritage Site status by UNESCO in 2004. Referred to as the Liverpool Maritime Mercantile City, the site comprises six separate locations in the city including the Pier Head, Albert Dock and William Brown Street and includes many of the city’s most famous landmarks.
The two websites are great resources for ideas for accommodation, places to eat and things to do.
https://independent-liverpool.co.uk/profiles/https://www.visitliverpool.com/Me and David will be staying in the Hope Street hotel in the city centre and below are some hotels that are nearby. Though a quick search should bring up the multitude of options available for all price ranges.
The city centre is around 20-30 minutes away from the Palm House and a taxi would cost on average £10.
The area around Sefton Park is vibrant with many independent shops, restaurants and bars found along the infamous Lark Lane. There is also a train station with direct trains every 15 minutes to and from the city centre just 20 mins walk from Sefton Park. So if you prefer there are some hotels near the Sefton Park Palm House itself which are also listed below. Though there is less choice than in the city centre.
